Flesh, tore from bone
Now, someone's home
Is a mausoleum
For the sacrifices
Steel beams, covered in stone
The moss, is overgrown
These buildings of the gods
Hateful and cruel
Collapsed bridges of yesterday
Show us there's no other way
Destruction has a loving grace
There is no other fate
Hearts, nailed to the walls
Blood spill and mating calls
New age chant, echoes out
The cycle spirals forever
These Modern days
Are rotting away
It's the ghost of mankind
That's here to stay
As memories
Begin to fade
In one single flash
We dissipate
Amazing post punk from Hungary. The vocals have an almost Steve Perry throatiness and melodicism to them, but they are ever so slightly muted to make the music stand out more. Yet, the vocals also have a cadence and drive that border on a hardcore approach. Very unique.
But the drummer steals the show here. Driving, frenetic, and, creative, providing a backbone to the music while also moving it forward.
Brilliant. Lute FP
